Sourdough Bread and Pizza Starters

It all starts with starter.

Our sourdough starter comes in a dehydrated state, with instructions for growing and maintaining it.

Every kit also includes a starter home for your sourdough starter! A 10 oz. glass jar with bamboo lid & spoon.

You'll also get access to our easy to follow pizza and bread baking classes for kids, taught by actual kids where the #1 rule is there are no mistakes.

Our goal is empowering them to be confident in the kitchen.

The Family That Bakes Together.

Once home, baking bread became a family affair. From the mixing of flour and water to stretching and folding the dough, we worked together as a team, leaving devices behind.

Since that first loaf we've baked 100+ loaves and pizzas. From kale to hot dogs to Hawaiian, we've found it's nearly impossible to go wrong.

We've overcooked and over proofed, been too impatient to 'let it sit' or let it rise, but it's always delicious when made with your own hands.

How Our Starter Got Started.

We can trace our starter back to the fall of 2020. Our aunt grew it from scratch and began baking bread as a way of showing her love and support for friends and family.

Living on the other side of the country, we never got the chance to try her bread until this last Christmas. WOW! We were hooked and began baking several loaves together.

She sent us home with a small amount of starter in this jar, and we've kept it alive and thriving since then.

Taking Pride
In Our Starters.

We've all had 'pizza night', where we buy pizza dough from the store, throw on the toppings, pop it the oven, and call it good.

But making something completely from scratch, with no corners cut, makes pizza night that much more fun, rewarding and delicious, for both you and your kids.

And it all starts with starter.
