Big changes are coming!

Day Four

Feed me Seymour...I'm hangry!

You may notice your starter has risen in the jar and fallen back down leaving streaks. This means it's hungry today!

Feed your starter ½ cup flour and ¼ cup water. Cover and let sit

another 24 hours.

If you used a small glass and her quarters look cramped, time to move her to our Sourdough Kids Club starter jar. It's growing up!

Day Five

Room to breathe...

It’s almost bread time! If you haven't already, move your bread starter to your Sourdough Kids Club jar. You'll also feed it more food, ½ cup flour and ¼ cup water.

Your starter will grow fast today! Once it's doubled in size in 4-6 hours after feeding, you're ready to bake

your first loaf.
